Sharing the Impact of Continuing Education Across Canada

Your Story. Our National Stage. Let’s lead the conversation on Canadian CE together.

The Canadian Association for University Continuing Education (CAUCE) is building a dynamic, Canada-wide collection of impact stories that showcase the people, programs, partnerships, and innovations shaping lifelong learning across the country.

From coast to coast to coast, continuing education is driving meaningful change in communities, workplaces, and individual lives. These stories highlight the unique and often transformative work happening within our member institutions, and the powerful ways they are responding to evolving learner needs.

This short submission form gives CAUCE members an easy way to share their impact. Stories submitted will help strengthen our collective voice, support advocacy and leadership conversations, and shine a national spotlight on the value of continuing education.

Submissions may be featured on the CAUCE website, newsletters, reports, conference materials, or social media channels. You do not need to submit a polished article. Our communications committee will help shape your story for publication.

Impact stories should reflect authentic experiences from within the Canadian postsecondary and continuing education sector. Submissions should be grounded in real programs, partnerships, people, or innovations. We do not publish anonymous submissions.

CAUCE impact stories are shared with a national audience of continuing and higher education professionals across Canada. Readers bring a wide range of experience and perspectives, so submissions should be clear, accessible, and written in a way that is easy to understand across the sector, with minimal use of jargon as most publications will be in English and French.

Stories are most effective when they clearly highlight an initiative, experience, or outcome and its impact. Depending on the medium, you may be asked to provide a short submission once you have been selected to be highlighted. In some cases, fuller stories are invited, typically ranging from 250 to 1,000 words.

We especially welcome stories that go beyond description to include reflection, lessons learned, or practical insights that others across the sector may find valuable or applicable in their own contexts.
