I am excited to announce that Sarah will be joining us as the Director of Executive Education and Professional Development, UNB Online. Sarah brings a wealth of experience and a proven track record in business development and higher education leadership to UNB Online and the Centre for Learning Futures. Sarah excels in several areas important to our strategic vision.
As a Student Engagement, Attraction and Recruitment Specialist, Sarah tripled enrollment from 50 students to 170, which resulted in substantial financial lift for UNB. As part of the MBA team at UNB Saint John, most recently in the position of Director, Sarah was part of a number of initiatives bringing professional credentialling to academic programs and building strong relationships with industry and professional bodies.
A people first leader, Sarah has invested in developing her leadership skills through programming and Professional development opportunities at UNB as well as through her work in the military. With over 14 years of progressive experience, she has led teams in the design and delivery of credit programming, the development of micro-credential proposals and the design and implementation of professional development initiatives. Sarah’s experience across UNB Online lines of business will benefit the entire unit.
As we prepare to firm up the Centre for Learning Future’s strategic vision, mission and values, Sarah joins UNB Online’s leadership team at the perfect time. She has demonstrated expertise in creating and implementing strategic plans focused on optimizing student experience and expanding the networking opportunities for both UNB students and the university itself.
Sarah takes a results-drive approach to leadership that fits well with the process improvements and goal-oriented framework UNB Online is implementing and that is so important to our growth. Throughout her career, she has developed partnerships internationally and maintained relationships globally that I know will benefit both our learners as well as our programming.
