Meet the team working behind the scenes to support the CAUCE community.
The secretariat is the central point of coordination for the association’s operations, programs, and member services. Based at the University of Saskatchewan, the team provides administrative and strategic support to the board of directors, manages member engagement initiatives, coordinates the annual conference and professional development opportunities, and helps foster connections within Canada’s university continuing education community.
Coral Sawchyn
Director of Operations
Coral provides leadership and coordination across CAUCE, working closely with the Board of Directors, supporting the annual conference, strategic initiatives, and projects throughout the year. She helps bring people, priorities, and activities together while ensuring the day-to-day operations of the Secretariat run smoothly. Alongside her work with CAUCE, Coral is a project manager within the Teaching Innovation and Strategic Initiatives leadership portfolio at the University of Saskatchewan.
Jasmin Fookes
Membership & Administrative Coordinator
Jasmin is often one of the friendly faces behind CAUCE, supporting our members and helping keep the day-to-day activities of the association running smoothly. She provides support for membership, external connections, communications, meetings, committees, events, awards, and a variety of initiatives throughout the year. Alongside her work with CAUCE, Jasmin is a sessional lecturer in the School for the Arts at the University of Saskatchewan.
Elizabeth Eberts
Social Media Coordinator
Elizabeth helps tell CAUCE’s story and keep our community connected through social media. She creates and shares engaging content that highlights the people, programs, events, and activities that make up the CAUCE community. Through her work, Elizabeth helps extend CAUCE’s reach and strengthen connections with members and colleagues across continuing education.
