Reporting to the Vice-President Academic and Provost, the Dean, Division of Continuing Studies, is responsible for providing strategic and administrative leadership to the University’s Continuing Studies programs as the chief academic and administrative officer.  As a member of the senior leadership team, the Dean works in collaboration with the Deans and academic leaders, senior administrators and staff, as well as other key stakeholders to implement and advance the University’s approved plans. 

The Dean, Division of Continuing Studies, will have a demonstrated professional and academic track-record (Masters required; PhD an asset) in a relevant field or discipline.  The Dean will be an engaged and proactive leader for the Division of Continuing Studies.  The successful candidate will have a broad understanding of continuing education, as well as the ability to champion and integrate those values in the University and broader community. The candidate will have knowledge of program development, delivery methods and adult learning pedagogy with the ability to inspire entrepreneurship, innovation and collaboration to meet the diverse the needs of students.
