Awards & Honors

Award of Recognition
This award, instituted in 1988, is to be given annually if a suitable candidate is nominated by a member university continuing education unit. It may be awarded to a Canadian who is not employed as a professional in university continuing education and who has made an outstanding contribution to the development of continuing education/adult education in Canada .

Honorary Membership
he honor is generally awarded at the conclusion of an individual’s career in University Continuing Education, and is intended for those who have served the objectives of CAUCE in outstanding fashion. It is meant to honor someone whose work has had a positive impact, not only at the local level but at a national or international level as well.

Journal Award
This award recognizes excellence in an item in the Article, Forum, or Reports of Practice categories in the Canadian Journal of University Continuing Education published in the calendar year preceding the Annual General Meeting.

Design and Marketing Awards
The annual CAUCE Design and Marketing Awards program recognizes excellence in the marketing of university continuing education in Canada.

Program Awards
An annual competition is held to recognize innovation and excellence for program development in a number of categories.

Research Awards
The CAUCE Research Awards recognizes both graduate student research and individuals who have made a sustained contribution to research.
